Hygiene concept for renting holiday apartments/accommodating guests for tourist purposes in times of the corona pandemic.

When creating this protection and hygiene concept, the legal ordinances of the state of Bavaria and the district of Oberallgäu are taken into account. Reference is also made to the information from the Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA) and the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).

This means for accommodation in the Berghaus Hinterreute:

1.Accommodation ban

The ban on accommodation applies to:

  • Persons with proven SARS-CoV2 infection,
  • Persons who have had contact with COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days (not applicable to medical and nursing staff with protected contact with COVID-19 patients) or are subject to a quarantine measure (e.g. returning from a risk area) for other reasons; for exceptions, reference is made to the currently valid infection protection regulations
  • People with symptoms associated with COVID-19 (acute, non-specific general symptoms, fever, loss of smell and taste, respiratory symptoms of any severity).
  • If you develop symptoms during your stay, you must leave the house immediately.
  • When entering the Federal Republic of Germany after a stay in a foreign risk, high incidence or virus variant area, special testing and documentation requirements and a quarantine requirement must be observed.

2. Incidence dependent rules

With a 7-day incidence of under 1,000

  • access is only valid with 2G (vaccinated, recovered) and for children up to the age of 12 ( 3 months).
  • In the case of absolutely necessary and unavoidable non-tourist events
Accommodation stays (e.g. business trips) are covered by 3G Plus (vaccinated, recovered, PCR-tested - this must not be older than 48 hours on arrival)
  • Evidence control with identity verification
  • FFP2 mask requirement for guests

With a 7-day incidence of above 1,000

  • Accommodation only for absolutely necessary, non-postponable non-tourist trips
  • Access restriction: 3G Plus (vaccinated, recovered, PCR tested - must not be older than 48 hours on arrival)

3. testing

Proof of testing not older than 24 hours must be presented upon arrival. A self-test under supervision is also possible.

Testing can be performed using the following methods:

  • PCR tests can be carried out in local test centers and by established doctors, particularly as part of the everyone’s tests according to the Bavarian test offer. A certificate is issued about the result, which is to be presented to the operator; the PCR test must have been carried out no more than 48 hours before the start of the visit.
  • Rapid antigen testing must be performed by a healthcare professional or equivalent trained to do so. A certificate is drawn up on the result, which must be presented to the owner before visiting the company; the rapid test must have been carried out no more than 24 hours before the visit to the company.
  • Rapid antigen tests for self-testing (“self-tests”) must be carried out on site under the supervision of the operator or a person commissioned by the operator. If a self-test shows a positive result, the person concerned must be denied access. The person concerned should isolate themselves immediately, avoid all contact as much as possible and make an appointment for the PCR test via the family doctor, the health department or the number 116 117 of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.

4. Compliance with contact restrictions

In the holiday home, subject to the contact restrictions, only people may stay in a room or residential unit with their own sanitary facilities for holiday purposes in accordance with the contact restrictions.

5.contact data collection

Upon arrival, each household's surname and first name, secure contact information (telephone number, e-mail address or address) and the period of stay are recorded.

6.information of the guests

The guests are informed by the provision of this hygiene and protection concept before arrival. This is complemented by

-Current information on the corona virus

-The 10 most important hygiene tips

7.Protection and hygiene plan

Guests rent a self-catering house and/or a holiday apartment. The house/apartment will be cleaned before it is handed over to the guests. During the rental period, guests are responsible for regular ventilation and, if necessary, intermediate cleaning of the accommodation. When handing over the keys and apartment, the property manager observes the applicable hygiene regulations such as hand disinfection, distance control and wearing a mouth and nose protector. Guests are also required to comply with these hygiene regulations. In common rooms and corridors, a minimum distance of 1.50 m must be maintained to limit contact and the wearing of FFP2 masks is mandatory. The only exceptions to the obligation to wear mouth and nose protection are: children up to their sixth birthday and people who are unable or reasonable to wear it due to a disability or health reasons (medical certificate required).

8th.cleaning

The house is thoroughly cleaned before handing over to the guests. According to the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), consistent implementation of hand hygiene is the most effective measure against the transmission of pathogens on or through surfaces. According to the recommendations of the RKI, routine surface disinfection is not carried out.

9.laundry package

Guests decide before their arrival whether they want to bring their own bed linen and towels or rent them. If bed linen is rented, the beds will be handed over made. The linen provided was washed at 60°C.

10 hand hygiene

Liquid soap and disposable towels are provided in sanitary rooms. A disinfectant dispenser is located in the entrance area.

11.garbage disposal

Guests are responsible for disposing of their rubbish bags in the rubbish bins provided. Used handkerchiefs, masks and gloves are to be disposed of in sealed plastic bags in the black residual waste bin.

12.Self-sufficiency

In our holiday home we do not offer any gastronomic offers and no food delivery service. The guests are responsible for their own food supply. A fixed kitchen team should be planned for groups.

13. Behavior if there are signs of infection such as fever, cough and shortness of breath

The persons concerned should contact the doctor treating them or the medical on-call service on tel. 116 117 immediately - initially by telephone - to clarify how to proceed. General questions can also be answered by the health department of the Oberallgäu district on tel

14 What to do if you are diagnosed with the Corona virus

In the event of a confirmed illness with the corona virus, the instructions of the RKI must be observed immediately. The regulatory office decides on the ordering of a quarantine. In addition, the landlord must be informed immediately.

We wish our guests taking into account these instructions and compliance with applicable regulations beautiful and relaxing vacation days. Stay healthy!
