House rule

House rule

Dear guests,

we are pleased that you want to spend your vacation in our house. We have endeavored to provide a comfortable and homely facility and hope that you will spend a wonderful holiday with us.

With the following house rules, we would like to give you some pointers as to how we would ideally like to deal with the house and the inventory. We have also set some rules that we hope you will understand. Ultimately, by treating the house properly, you help us to be able to provide you with a beautiful house in the future.

1 General

1.1. Scope - These house rules apply to everyone who is on the premises or in the building of the Berghaus Hinterreute.

1.2. The caretaker or his representative instructs the tenant in the use of the house and its facilities. His instructions and the house rules must be followed.

1.3. Every guest is jointly responsible for complying with the house rules. For group trips, leaders are responsible for their groups.

1.4. A breach of the house rules is a breach of contract at the Berghaus Hinterreute. In serious cases, the property manager can terminate the contractual relationship without observing a notice period after an unsuccessful warning.

1.5. The guest is responsible for the supervision of private belongings or valuables. The tenants are obliged to treat the rental property, including the inventory, with care and respect. Complaints will only be accepted if they are made within 2 hours of arrival.

2. Arrival / Departure

Arrival must be scheduled in advance and is possible from 3 p.m. The room must be vacated by 10:30 a.m. on the day of departure. The group house must be inspected before departure.

3. Rest Periods

Basically, noise on the premises and in the house should be avoided. The outdoor facilities, especially the lawn, may only be used during the daytime from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Access to and exit from the inner courtyard is only permitted during the daytime from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests are asked to refrain from any noise that could disturb the peace indoors or outdoors, such as loud singing, shouting, shouting, yelling, slamming doors or the like. Any noise that disturbs the peace and quiet that can be heard from public streets/paths or neighbors is prohibited. Please also note that the neighbors are quiet at night. The operation of electrical amplifier systems outdoors is not permitted. Please only operate acoustic devices such as radios, DVD, CD players if other guests and/or neighbors are not disturbed. This is especially true during the night's rest.

The management of the house reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the contract in the event of violations of the nightly rest or the youth protection law.

4. Cleanliness / Order / Environment

The guest has to pay attention to cleanliness. Waste is to be reduced to a minimum through avoidance and recycling; Any waste that is produced beyond this must be separated and disposed of in the containers provided for this purpose. Any rearrangement of furnishings must be agreed with the house management in advance. Upon departure, all items must be returned to their destination. Indoor tables and chairs cannot be used outdoors. The guest is responsible for maintaining hygiene in the self-catering kitchen and all other rooms; no liability is assumed for this. The kitchens and rooms are to be left swept clean after use. Kitchen appliances and crockery / cutlery must be cleaned thoroughly after use. The guest has to help save energy. Pointless heating, improper ventilation, unnecessary lighting, wasteful use of water, etc. should be avoided.

Do not throw anything down toilets, bathtubs, sinks or other drains (no tampons, sanitary napkins, diapers, panty liners). Also, do not flush any environmentally harmful cleaning agents such as chlorine and the like, grease and leftover food down the drains or toilets. This causes serious blockages!

Always use the beds with bedclothes only. If bed linen is not used, you will be charged for the necessary cleaning costs for the pillows, blankets and mattresses. For reasons of hygiene, the beds may only be used with bed linen (no sleeping bags). Food may not be prepared or eaten in the bedrooms. The rooms must be handed over in a clean condition.

5. Decoration material

Decoration material must meet fire safety requirements. Attaching decorative material or other objects is not permitted without the consent of the house management. The organiser/orderer is liable for damage to the facility or inventory caused during assembly and dismantling or during the event without proof of fault.

6. Parking lots

The parking spaces in front of the house can be used by our guests. If all spaces are occupied, we recommend using the Hinterreute hikers' car park. The parking lots are unguarded and you use them at your own risk. Parking on neighboring properties, in front of garages and in the driveway is prohibited.

7. Damage / Fire Protection

The group, represented by the responsible group leader, is liable in the full amount of the replacement value in the event of loss, destruction or damage to the facilities of the house. Damage that we only determine after departure will be charged to the groups no later than 14 days later. Willful destruction will be reported. Dealing with naked flames (candles, etc.) and smoking are prohibited in all rooms of the house. Smoking is only permitted on the terrace. The cigarette butts are to be disposed of in the containers provided. It is particularly important to ensure that warm embers are not disposed of in paper containers. Sky lanterns, paper lanterns, etc. are not permitted for fire safety reasons. The tenant is liable for all damage caused to the group house through violation or non-observance of the house rules and through non-fulfillment of the reporting obligations.

Basically, if the smoke detector sounds, leave the building immediately and gather in the courtyard!
